ERLINDE BOERSMA |
Erlinde Boersma graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts (AKI) in Enschede, the Netherlands, in 1999. Erlinde is expressing her ideas through different media and shows the "reality of the captured moment." She is inspired by the stillness of those moments in wich mankind is always the centre.The eyes of mankind are pure and real, and tell what really lives in a person. Erlinde depicts the expressions of the eyes in an especially powerful way. Characters come to life in her work, they are portrayed within a dynamic word, and they seem to be caught up in the structure or, in the deconstruction, of existence. Erlinde's characters observe with intensity, and so make contact with the observer. |
